Why Choose
Hyperbaric Solutions
Hyperbaric Solutions knows the best
decisions are informed decisions. That's why our staff strive to provide
you with the most thorough exam and consultation so that you have the
information you need to decide if HBO is right for you.
Our goal is not to perform as many
procedures as possible but to educate potential patients as to whether
or not they are good candidates for HBO. With experimental indications
we will provide the patient with the most up to date information from
medical journals and symposiums so that they can make a quality
decision.
Our organization is committed to quality patient care and maximizing the
benefit that HBO may provide.
Preliminary Physical Exam
Before any HBO treatment a exam by a
qualified doctor should be performed to assess the patient’s health and
establish a base line of physical data to determine if the HBO sessions
are providing benefit to the patient throughout the sessions and asses
when the maximum benefit possible is reached.
Consultation
Most of our patients started with a
consultation over the phone to establish if there was a good fit to go
to the next step and arrange a physical examination.
Before Choosing a HBO
Provider
HBO is a medical treatment and as such all
equipment and facilities should be approved by the appropriate
authorities HBO personnel should be trained to operate HBO equipment and
be aware of all safety considerations concerning pressurized oxygen.

The two most important elements of a
successful HBO treatment program are experienced, trained personnel and
the most advanced equipment which is operated in a safety first
environment.
In addition to preliminary and ongoing
medical examinations throughout the HBO sessions Hyperbaric Solutions
use transcutaneous oxygen tension measurement to predict the outcome in
diabetic patients with peripheral ischemia and problem wounds. Also
where deemed necessary arterial blood gas samples may be analyzed to
establish appropriate hyperbaric pressures for patients with abnormal
pulmonary function. Wherever possible magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
is recommended to establish the baseline in treatment of stroke victims
receiving HBO treatments to determine effectiveness of HBO.
